Office 365 Sign In Error 1001
If you experience the "Something went wrong (1001)" error when trying to sign into Office 365 apps, try the following:
Delete the authentication folders in the user profile folder:
1. Close all open Office applications, including Teams and OneDrive
2. Navigate to c:\users\userprofilefolder\appdata\local\Microsoft
3. Delete the following folders in the user profile folder:
- OneAuth
- IdentityCache
4. Open an Office application and sign in to confirm it is working
